1. Scope and definitions
This policy applies to website visitors, job seekers, user accounts, and companies using Platform features. Terms such as "personal information" or "personal data" refer to data that identifies or can identify an individual — on its own or when combined with other data.
If you use our services under a separate agreement (for example, partner-specific terms), those terms may apply together with this policy as long as they do not conflict.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may receive:
- Account and profile data: name, email, phone number, and sign-in credentials (including if you sign in through a third party such as Google).
- Career and application data: education, work experience, portfolio, uploaded documents, job preferences, and application form fields.
- Company data: company name, contacts, job listing materials, logos, and content you publish on the Platform.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, access times, pages visited, and data from cookies and similar technologies (see the Cookies section).
- Communications: content of messages, emails, or support requests you send to us.
Some information is required for the service to work; if you do not provide it, certain features may be unavailable.
3. How we use information
We use information for fair and transparent purposes, including:
- Operating, maintaining, and improving the Platform (job search, registration, dashboards, and other features);
- Processing applications, displaying listings, and facilitating connections between job seekers and employers according to each account's settings;
- Authentication, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and security;
- Sending service notifications, important updates, and responding to your inquiries;
- Analytics and statistics in aggregate or non-directly-identifying form to understand how the service is used;
- Complying with legal obligations, lawful requests from authorities, and enforcing our terms and legal rights.
4. Legal bases and consent
We process data based on one or a combination of: your consent, performance of services you request or a contract with us, legal obligation, our legitimate interests (such as security and service improvement) balanced against your rights, and other grounds allowed by law. For sensitive processing or where permission is specifically required, we will seek separate consent as required by law.
In Indonesia, our practices are also aligned with consumer protection, information technology rules, and the Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations, as applicable to our services.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in the following situations:
- Service providers: hosting, cloud infrastructure, email, analytics, or authentication, acting on our instructions and bound by confidentiality and security standards;
- Recruitment: application or profile data you submit or approve may be accessible to the employer posting the relevant job, according to Platform workflows;
- Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a competent government authority;
- Protection of rights: to investigate misuse, protect user safety, or defend our rights and assets;
- Business reorganisation: in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, with reasonable notice where required by law.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to remember preferences, maintain sessions, analyse traffic, and improve your experience. You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies; some features may not work fully. More detail on types and purposes may be added on a cookie page or account settings when available.
7. Information security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures (such as access controls, encryption where appropriate, and internal policies) to protect data from unauthorised access, leakage, or misuse. Internet transmission is never completely risk-free; please keep your passwords and devices secure.
8. Storage and retention
We retain data for as long as needed for the purposes in Section 3, to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain reasonable business records. After that, data may be deleted or anonymised according to our retention policy. Exact periods may vary by data type and legal duty.
9. Your choices and rights
In general you may:
- Access, update, or correct profile information through account settings where available;
- Request a summary of data we hold about you, or request deletion or restriction of processing, subject to legal exceptions (for example records we must keep for evidence or tax);
- Withdraw consent for voluntary processing, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing where the law allows;
- Object to certain processing based on legitimate interests, where the law provides;
- Opt out of or manage marketing communications via unsubscribe links or by contacting us.
For requests that cannot be completed in the app, contact us using the details below. We may verify your identity before processing a request. In Indonesia, personal data rights are also framed under the Personal Data Protection Law; you may lodge complaints with competent authorities as rules evolve.
10. Communications from us
We may send emails or notifications about your account, security, policy changes, or service features. Promotional messages, if any, will respect your preferences and applicable law, including opt-out mechanisms.
11. Third-party accounts and services
If you sign in through Google or another provider, certain information may be received according to that provider's settings and privacy policy. We encourage you to read their policies; we do not control third-party sites.
12. Links to other sites
The Platform may link to third-party sites (for example social media or partners). Their privacy practices and content are the responsibility of their owners. We are not responsible for their practices.
13. Children and teens
Our services are intended for users who can lawfully enter into agreements. We do not knowingly collect data from children without parental or guardian consent where required by law. If you believe we hold a child's data without a proper basis, please contact us.
14. International transfers
Our infrastructure or vendors may be located outside Indonesia. If data is transferred to another jurisdiction, we consider Indonesian legal requirements and reasonable contractual or technical safeguards to protect confidentiality.
15. Governing law
Use of the Platform and disputes arising from or relating to privacy are generally governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, unless otherwise specified elsewhere. Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights or non-waivable statutory rights under local law.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or law. The latest version will be posted on this page with a "last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example by email or in-app notice). Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy, unless the law requires a different form of consent.
